I offer professional text and translation services as a freelancer. Special Areas I have written and translated for a number of clients and larger translation companies, in numerous fields, on countless topics.
I have experience with
marketing, UX, fiction texts, speeches, technical specifications, products and services, fashion, food and drink, tourism, gaming, legal, medical, educational, scientific, political, and informative documents and materials.
Education
Education I have a bachelor's degree in literature and a master's degree in European (specifically French linguistics) languages, as well as three years of experience in translation, text quality assurance, and copywriting (to use the popular English term). This means that the texts and language services you order from me are of high quality.
Educational Institutions I have gathered my competence from universities and schools in Barcelona, Paris, Kristiansand, and Oslo. I am a versatile, creative, and linguistically skilled writer with a great passion for the subject. Perhaps I should say subjects, because although there are many similarities between translation, copywriting, proofreading, and transcreation, they require different knowledge.
My languages
I have experience with and competence in English, French, and Swedish texts – in addition to Norwegian (mother tongue). I have studied languages in general by studying French specifically. This is how I have acquired the knowledge I now have – about how languages are structured, what is common for, for example, English, French, Swedish, and Norwegian, and what makes Norwegian Norwegian. In addition, I have crammed and read and thought and poked at Norwegian writing rules... Because it is Norwegian I must be able to write flawlessly, after all, despite the inherent bilingualism of translation.

Guidelines, Style, and Tone
Furthermore, I write texts that adhere to specific requirements, style, and tone (tone of voice), and possibly words and expressions that should be considered for search engine optimization (SEO). SEO ensures that your website ranks higher on the list of search results in Google. This is, of course, useful when potential future customers search for products and services you and/or your company want to sell. Many people know this, but it is by no means obvious.
Reputation Building
Both as a person and as a company, the way you/your company is represented through text can be important for making a good impression. Yes, I probably get more than average excited when I see a typo, and it doesn't mean the world is ending. At the same time, texts that are of a high standard help build a reputation. Then it's good to get help from someone who knows the subject and who is also very fond of text, language, and literature – and spelling!
How much does it cost?
As a freelancer and self-employed person, I have the opportunity to offer language services at low prices compared to services ordered from text agencies and translation companies with multiple employees.

Thing I know, thing I love
quiz questions about the world's capitals, finding orienteering posts, finding avocados in the store that are ripened to perfection. Why is it relevant? Hard to say, but you never know – text can be about so much, after all, and suddenly it becomes useful. I can also mention that I am good at researching and double-checking information, and at writing legal, informative, creative, medical, educational, and technical texts. I have experience with texts in food and drink, fashion, lifestyle, electronics, the school system, and user design (UX, user experience). That was to name a few.
